Turborevs T5 HID Conversion kit Xenon High Intensity Discharge Kit Lighting SystemsIMPORTANT NOTE: Turborevs HID conversion kits come with 2 x HID bulbs and 2 x ballasts to fit car headlights, beware of HID kits which appear to be cheaper but only contain 1x HID bulb and 1 x ballast. Turborevs T5 HID Conversion kit is available in either H1 or H7 bulb sizes. The T5 kit is specially designed for newer cars (2002 onwards) which have on-board computers which control the lighting such as the BMW 3, 5 and 7 series, Mercedes E and S class, Audi's, VW Golf mk5, etc.

What's the problem with newer cars? On pre - 2002 cars this check was done by using voltage/current measure coming in/out a component such as a bulb, however on newer cars this check is now done via a clipping signal (not voltage/current measure). The majority of HID kits available in the market can overcome the voltage/current measure mechanism however there are hardly any kits which resolve the issues with the newer cars. But Turborevs T5 kit overcomes this problem by using additional resistor/relays to ensure there are no warnings flashing on the dashboard or the lights just shut down. T5 HID kit specification
